Day #5 // Pure Cardio

Woke up this morning feeling very sore… still. Was hoping the Recovery Day would help a little big (and maybe it did…) but I was definitely still feeling it. Getting out of bed was difficult… walking was difficult… I was definitely worried about trying to attempt Pure Cardio. But I knew I at least had to give it a shot – and I’m glad I did. Doing the exercise actually helped loosen me up a lot… I feel better now (afterward) than I did beforehand for sure. The warm-up was pretty difficult as I was working through the stiffness, but once I got pass that and the stretches, it was all good from there. Now, that’s not to say that I kept up the whole time… I didn’t. I just wasn’t feeling as achy during the actual exercise.

For those of you that don’t know, Pure Cardio consists of the usual warm-up (approximately 10 minutes) and the normal stretch (approximately 6 minutes) followed up by the actual exercise which is approximately 16 minutes of non-stop, high intensity cardio exercises and ended with a cool-down stretch. Needless to say, it is hard as hell. Knowing how hard this exercise is and knowing that it gets harder in the “max” month (the second month) honestly scares /excites me.

Feeling tired tonight. Trying to brainstorm some different things I could include in my daily updates to spice things up a bit. Let me know if anyone’s reading and you have any ideas.
